My pockets are damn near empty as it is, and this Fall and Winter will be a 360 owners dream. I need the extra time to save up.

Maybe the average 12 year old can't afford 96 cents a week, but as an adult, I don't mind paying that huge sum for a much better online experience.
I don't know chief. The PS3 line up is great, but the 360 line up is no worse. Mass Effect is a trilogy, Fable 2 is on the way, Project Gotham 4 is coming...and so on, and so on. Both systems should have a slew of AAA titles in the works, but the advantage of the 360 is that they have plenty of AAA titles right NOW. No waiting for the 360 fans. PS3 fans may rejoice soon, but for now, Sony has nothing (not bashing)
but I agree completely with the list. I've played all the FF's at the time of their original releases, and FF6 was by far the most advanced for it's time, even more so then seven. FF7 started a new generation of RPG'ers because of it's greatness, but FF6 was the better game (again...for the time)
Square has produced nothing but garbage since the mid 90's. I hope they can regain their former glory, but Project Sylpheed sure as heel is not it.
it is what non fanboys expected. The 360 is still in the lead. But as programmers get use to the PS3 hardware, the graphics will be a lot closer than they use to be. The ONLY reason to buy a PS3, is for their exclusive titles (which will be great) Multiplat games are the same or better on the 360 and not worth dishing out an extra $200 for. Get a PS3 for their exclusives, it'll be worth it, but leave all others to the 360.

Few (if any) multi platform games on the PS3 have yet to outshine it's rival, they are always a step up on the 360. (not a fanboy comment, just truth) That's okay though, the PS3 will tear it up on their exclusive titles that are built for the PS3 from the ground up.
A huge, open world to explore at your own pace.

They are suppose to be available to the public in late 2008, but they will also run about $80 a disc. Mind you, that is what they are saying now, and come late 08, they will probably be a lot less. I do agree with you though...cheers.
But this is what happens if the article posted is even 1% unclear (crazy fanboys butting heads). I agree with you though, 360 will get something...props.
I thought FF6 was the last GREAT version of the series. After I beat 7, 8 & 9, I just gave up. The classic stuff is way better than the newer garbage Square is putting out. I know you said you liked FF10, but go back a couple generations, they're much better.
I guess the PS3 will finally get a good game come Jan 1 2009.

I believe FF13 may not cross over, but a new Final Fantasy MMO has already been confirmed BY SQUARE for 360 and Vista...
